Our approach to tailoring is rooted in classical techniques passed down through generations of artisans. We learned our craft in the tradition of European ateliers, where precision is non-negotiable and shortcuts are unthinkable.

Hand & Machine

We employ both hand-stitching and machine techniques, choosing each based on what the garment requires. Hand-stitching for flexibility and finesse. Machine work for strength and consistency. Both executed with equal mastery.

Measurement Precision

Before any alteration or repair begins, we measure with careful accuracy. Understanding how a garment sits on the body, where it pulls, where it drapes, informs every decision we make.

Fabric Literacy

Different fabrics require different approaches. Wool behaves differently than silk. Linen moves differently than cotton. We read fabric like a language, understanding its properties, limitations, and possibilities.

Construction Knowledge

To alter or repair a garment properly, you must understand how it was built. We study construction methods, pattern making, and garment architecture to ensure our work integrates seamlessly with the original.
